Our Miami-Dade Office located at 10800 Biscayne Blvd, is looking for a qualified Licensed Clinical Supervisor to lead our Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant team. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will provide supervision to each consultant by taking a reflective approach to help them meet all program competencies, navigate challenges and understand the personal affect of their work in order to assist them in becoming stronger partners for the individuals served.

To be considered for this position, here are the requirements:                                                                                            

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences or related field. Licensure in the mental health field required; Qualified supervisor or ability to become preferred; Minimum of five years' experience working with children and families and a work history that includes clinical supervision. Knowledge of infant mental health and/or early childhood; demonstrated experience in supervising and training staff and dealing with complex situations   Demonstrated experience in working with early childhood settings. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and flexibility are required. Proficient in MS Office. Able to work flexible hours and be available 24/7 to staff and funder for assistance as needed. Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance to meet company guidelines . This is a position of special trust which requires all employees to successfully meet Level 2 background screening requirements. Able to work flexible hours.  Able to perform in an empowered environment by working collaboratively with other professionals, personnel and direct service providers. Must be familiar and comfortable working with diverse populations.

Your responsibilities will include:                                                              

  • Provide clinical, administrative, educational, and supportive oversight to the Infant & Early Childhood mental health consultation program. 
  • Leadership and day to day management of the Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation (IECMHC) program and staff.
  • Develop, implement and supervise all aspects of program services, including integrated center/classroom assessment, and delivery of consultation services.
  • Work closely with the funder to ensure contract compliance training needs are met. 
  • Ensure all program services meet Council on Accreditation (COA), licensing and best practice standards.
  • Provide supervision for program staff inclusive of ensuring productivity standards are met and quality of work meets clinical, departmental and organizational standards.
  • Hire qualified employees, complete performance evaluations and provide effective feedback.
  • Maintain familiarity with all services within the program that is within supervisory oversight.
  • Work closely with staff to achieve positive program outcomes, develop appropriate goals and review to ensure quality and effectiveness of services.
  • Coordinate and provide or ensure attendance at required training of new employees  and all other contractual, pre-service, in-service and all other training requirements are met.
  • Develop and maintain orientation manual and protocols for program administration; and ensure staff meets all contractual pre-service, in-service, and all other training requirements.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of all relevant documentation, evaluate progress, proper utilization of services through program and agency quality review process; and case supervision.
  • Perform all other responsibilities as outlined in the job description, as assigned and essential to the success of the program and the company.
