Family Central is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to our new Jump Start program. This is a day time/part-time position working up to 24 hours weekly and is  located at 10800 Biscayne Blvd, North Miami.

Qualified candidates must meet the following requirements:

Requirements: Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required. One year experience in office setting or customer service required. Must be computer literate with proficiency in MS Office specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  Experience working in a database preferred. Able to work flexible hours including some evenings. Must have a valid Florida Driver's License or State of Florida Identification card. Able to perform in an empowered environment by working collaboratively with other professionals, personnel and direct service providers. Must be familiar and comfortable working with diverse populations. Bilingual preferred.

  • Provide administrative and on-site support to the program to include: Maintaining adequate supplies and ordering as necessary with approval; preparing agendas/recording and typing meeting minutes; answering the telephone and responding to inquiries; preparing and drafting correspondence/program documents; filing, maintaining/updating program forms; assisting with preparation of workshop/meeting; completing purchase orders/check requests; travel requests/vouchers; maintains schedules/calendars and securing meetings.
  • Ensure team members sign in/out resource materials, tracks and ensures return of all materials.
  • Create program spreadsheets to track information for the program.
  • Enter program demographics, attendance and assessment data including into required database(s) or spreadsheet in an accurate and timely fashion.
  • Assist Manager with monthly report data and report generation.
  • Create flyers, brochures and presentation slides as needed by the program.
  • Review marketing materials to ensure proper formatting, updated company required bugs, letterhead, etc.., is being used and coordinate the production of the materials with vendors.
  • Maintain updated binders, spreadsheets and records and tracks service documentation.
  • Participate in internal compliance and quality audit of charts.
  • Assist Manager and/or CPO with special projects and other duties as assigned
