High level, visionary leadership qualities, which include: strategic thinking, entrepreneurial orientation, managing change, building organizational commitment and establishing focus. Masters Degree in business, social service or related field required. Minimum of five years of supervisory experience required, 7 years preferred in a related field and progressively responsible supervisory/managerial capacity. Computer literate, high degree of organizational skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to work flexible hours. Must have a valid Florida driver's license, reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance. This is a position of special trust which requires the employee to successfully meet Level 2 background screening requirements. Able to perform in an empowered environment by working collaboratively with other professionals, personnel and direct service providers. Must be familiar and comfortable working with diverse populations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
As a member of senior management has overall authority and accountability for the successful growth of the Palm Beach Operations.
Provides visionary leadership with the ability to increase others understanding of and commitment to the Palm Beach Operational vision.
Formulate and lead a high-performance management team, each of whom can competently manage their own unit as a business, and participate effectively as a member of the team responsible for leading the Palm Beach Operations.
Develop effective partnerships and alliances with the businesses, organizations, governments, institutions and individuals throughout Family Central's service areas.
Ensure a supportive work environment within the Palm Beach Operations that consistently attracts the most competent, mission-driven employees who are allowed to maximize their talents by becoming stakeholders in the organization.
Continually work towards the organization's vision through a diversification of the financial base and ensure that the Palm Beach Operations resources are managed wisely, properly accounted for and closely monitored.
Create an entrepreneurial culture within the Palm Beach Operations that encourages and supports entry into new markets, the development of new products, the termination or reduction of some products (as appropriate), and the continual re-evaluation of the Division's unique and proper niche in the ever-changing market place.
Serve as a customer service role model to ensure a positive relationship in interactions with all customer groups: users of services, payers for services, business and community partners, employees, and peers.
Create a culture within the Palm Beach Operations that only accepts excellence in the quality of its services and products.
Be an effective spokesperson, communicator and net-worker of the organization's mission and vision.
Set a high moral tone of integrity, honesty and loyalty for the Palm Beach Operations.
Performs duties as needed and/or requested to support and maintain Accreditation standards and continuous quality improvement of the organization.
