The Administrative Assistant is responsible for, but not limited to, administrative tasks such as database system maintenance, office supply purchasing, inventory, typing, filing, telephone duties, maintaining files, calendars and organizing/coordinating office operations for the HIPPY program in Palm Beach county.
This is a Part-Time and temporary position, working up to 28 hours a week. Expected duration is through June 30, 2023 or until funds are expended.
Skills/Requirements
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, and two (2) years of experience in customer service. Administrative/Secretarial coursework preferred.
- Detail oriented, excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills; ability to adhere to deadlines. Must display proficiency using standard office equipment. Strong alpha/numeric data entry skills with high degree of accuracy. Excellent follow through skills, time management and the ability to balance multiple projects. Ability to produce professional correspondence which is properly formatted and free of grammatical and spelling errors.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Must be computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Must have transportation and have a valid Florida Driver's License with full access to a reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage (proof of insurance is required.)
